Question 1

What is Almension?

Accepted Answer

Almension is an in-development, proposed technology-enabled managed in-kind sponsorship network connecting local and regional US businesses with organized hobby communities. The proposed model pairs software for discovery, resource listings, requests, and fulfillment tracking with Community Partnerships Managers who would bring hobby-specific expertise and help turn introductions into fulfilled partnerships. This is a proposed model, not a record of proven results.

Question 2

What can a business contribute, and what should it include?

Accepted Answer

A business may share products, services, equipment, or experiences toward a specific community need. A business inquiry can begin without an Almension account or subscription. Share the resource type, possible contribution, location, and timing or availability. No participant price or fee schedule has been established; not needing an account or subscription to inquire does not mean every form of participation or service is free.

Question 3

Who can raise a community need, and what should they share?

Accepted Answer

Hobby clubs, meet and event organizers, and community leaders can raise an in-kind need for their community or group. Share the community or group, hobby, specific need, location, and timing. This is for in-kind support, not cash fundraising.

Question 4

How would Almension decide which requests fit?

Accepted Answer

The proposed fit-based approach considers the group, hobby, timing, location, and each side’s stated criteria. Sponsors would receive only requests that fit the criteria they have shared. Fit and human follow-through are intended principles, not guaranteed matches or outcomes.

Question 5

Is Almension a charity, cash-crowdfunding site, or pay-to-rank directory?

Accepted Answer

No. Almension is not a charity or cash-crowdfunding platform, and it is not a pay-to-rank directory. Advertising never influences matching or fulfillment decisions. The proposed focus is on in-kind contributions and fit-based introductions.

Question 6

Which communities are targets to explore?

Accepted Answer

The target communities to explore, in order, are Automotive; Luxury & hospitality; Hip hop; Boating & yachting; Performing arts; and Photography & videography. These are targets, not active partners or currently available sponsorships.

Question 7

What longer-term community areas are ideas for expansion?

Accepted Answer

The longer-term expansion ideas, in order, are Skateboarding; Gaming; Arts; Outdoor; and Fitness. These are ideas only, not active partners or currently available sponsorships.

Question 8

Has Almension chosen an automotive pilot or location?

Accepted Answer

Automotive is only a working possible first-pilot recommendation. It is not settled or active, and no pilot location has been chosen.

Question 9

Are fees, eligibility, availability, timelines, or outcomes established?

Accepted Answer

No participant price or fee schedule, eligibility rules, current capacity or availability, response or fulfillment timeline, or guaranteed match, fulfillment, or outcome has been established. Almension is in development, and the proposed benefits remain unvalidated. Targets and forecasts are not achieved results. No Almension account or subscription is needed to begin an inquiry; that does not establish that all later participation or services are free.
